feeling so sick

Got a schedule today in hauling wheels and people coming to sell their junks but Steven just stayed inside the house and rest whole day upstairs and ask me to call these people to cancel their appointments. He was not feeling good ever since we come home from Westminster last night to get our packages and mails. I don't know what got him, all of a sudden he was shaking all over, his stomach aches so bad and got a very excruciating headache, that he was not able to fell asleep last night. This really worries me so much, so I told him to go to the hospital but he was so stubborn to go. Anyhow, he was feeling a little better this morning compared last night, but still its hard for him to get up and move around the house, so he just stayed in bed and rest for the whole day. I just hate to see him like this, I know he feels bad for missing work today because there's so much stuff that needs to be done and it was such a very nice day. I so hope he feels better tomorrow, at least able to get up, walk around the yard and get some sunshine.

His New Bling!

His bumper... He get rid of the old smaller one and replace it to this new monstrous one. lol. He spent a day to clean it and polish it in order to look shiny and blingy.

miserable day

Its been more than a month that I have updated this blog, somehow in the middle I lost interest due to blah blah blah.. laziness. hahaha.. there is nothing much to update anyhow, the market is still way down and pulling us down, problems are left and right but the junk man are taking it nice and slow. Good for him, as for me? it gives me a lot of headaches and worries! I wish i could do something but Im also disable until my parasite comes out next year. Hope everything wont go that bad, we are coping up so slowly. We are not yet sure of what is going to happen to Stevens case. The lawyer just ask another 5,000 US$ for to get his case going. Poor us! Not just that, Steven hurt his back for a couple of weeks ago which is slowing him down. This morning he woke up with a terrible headache, then this afternoon he told me that 3 big heavy container hit his foot and leg. Ouch! that must have hurt a lot! Wow, seems like he is hurting from head to toe! my poor junk man feeling so crippled today. I told him to be very extra careful next time to avoid incidents. hay.. I hope the market would go up a little so that we could go on with our life.

tagging along with the Junkman

Today JJ and I tagged along with Steven buying Junks at... i dont know what place is that, all I know its 30mins away from our place. It was located near the mountain and I havent gone to that place before so I dont know these people. Steven told me that its been 2 years since he bought this guy's junk, he was still using his black truck that time. Hmm... pretty long time huh? While Steven was working JJ and I explore the vicinity and discovered some toys near the garage. JJ had a lot of fun playing and running around their yard. The guy had some horses too, so we went to the barn and watch them. We didnt stayed long because Steven was in a hurry. There are guys coming to our place to sell their scrap. We were suppose to go to Gettysburg today but our plans change because of that guy who will come to our place needs money so bad. The prices of the precious metals in the market havent change a bit, still going down even copper and Aluminum. So Steven is really careful not to make mistakes and make sure that he is not going to lose any money because we really need it so badly.

buying around Westminster

Gone to Westminster today to finish the business. There are still a lot of people need to take care off and give them prices of the converters and other junks such as scrap metals. The price in the stock market hasnt change a bit, still its very low and I dont know when its going to get back up again so that we can able to sell the stuff and earned a lot of money. Its so hard to sell now cause we might lose some money, its so hard to gamble if the market is so low and not sure when its going to back up again. I hope that it will goes up slowly, not drastically so that everybody would happy specially us!

got New Tires

Finally I was able to get rid of my old wheels and tires that I had been using for almost 2 years. It was all bald and undependable specially if I carry so much load on my trailer. It is so hard to drive specially if its raining. This time I ordered 19.5 aluminum wheel black plated and new tires that got some pretty nice treads. At first its hard to maneuver but later on I got used to it. Happy that I was able to get this.

Life of a Junk Man

I made this blog in order for people to understand the nature of my husbands job and to know more about being a Junkman. Well, life of a junk man is not that easy like what people think. You have to know what you are doing, what you are dealing with, and the exact value of each kind. There's more to it than just collecting junks and scrap metals. What is good about this business is that you own your time, you dont need to worry about waking up early the next day and beat the traffic. As for my junkman he works 12/7, from 10am to 10pm sometimes until 12am if need to.

There's been so much money in junks for the last month that a lot of people have decided to become a junkman, so theres a lot of competition, need to be on the go always so that other people cant beat you up with the Junks. It doesnt really matter cause he has been in the business for a very long time that he got a lot of customers who trust him and loyal to him. Its good to be part of his business, although its not an easy job but it was fun riding around with the junkman and collecting junks.
